The 30 hour Self Development Course is delivered by Yogiville Gurukul's Senior Teachers and are designed for students in self development with the potential to complete further certification courses.
Gain a fundamental understanding of Anatomy & Physiology to deepen your knowledge and practice and if teaching, to provide instruction based on participants injuries and health issues.
Topics we explore during the course:
Anatomy and the correct terminology when teaching
The major systems of the body and how to support the systems in yoga
Circulatory, Digestive, Endocrine, Excretory, Lymphatic, Muscular, Nervous, Respiratory, Skeletal
Understanding the purpose, function & parts of each System
Impact a regular yoga practice has on each system
Benefits of a regular yoga practice on each system
Precautions to ensure a safe practice while considering any existing health issues or injuries
Examples of Asanas, Pranayama, Bandhas & Mudras that focus on each system
